The Lismorahaun Singers prides itself on being a non-audition and community-based choir, welcoming anyone over 16, regardless of previous musical experience.

New singers are invited to join twice a year, in September and January.

When joining a new choir, it can take a while to find your feet, especially if you have never sung before. If written music seems a little daunting then help is at hand as we’re introducing the latest technology to help with reading and creating audio files to help with practice. All that is asked is that you bring your enthusiasm and commitment to a community endeavour, a sense of fun and a little bit of patience to get you started and we’ll help you learn the rest!

New joiners are encouraged to start in September, but if you have sung in a choir before, or reasonably fluent in reading music, then there is a bit more flexibility.

You should know however that the Lismorahaun Singers practice a lot.

The Lismorahaun Singers meet Tuesday evenings from 7.15 to 9.15pm at St. Johns Hall in Ballyvaughan, Co Clare, H91 AV82, starting 10 September 2024.
